HSM’s first televised national broadcast was in November of 1999 featuring all the hottest gift ideas for the season. The internet was just starting to bloom with companies and both established and new were pouncing at the chance to sell their goods and services from their brand new online stores. With the inception of this new revolution of selling merchandise on the world wide web, the initial show was born as the first ever of its kind home shopping television program to feature direct online shopping from its guests.

Since then, the internet retail phenomenon has exploded and become saturated with products from all over the world and the show continues to highlight, sell and brand amazing products and their companies. To date, the show is the longest running of its genre in home shopping television history and has hosted thousands of guests and will continue to grow, expand and evolve with the growing worldwide economy.
