The 411 on Marketplace

The Home Shopping Marketplace television show's first national broadcast was in November of 1999. The world wide web was just taking off and companies both established and new were pouncing at the chance to sell their goods and services from "online".  In light of this new phenomenon of selling merchandise, the show was conceived as the first ever home shopping television program to feature direct shopping from its guests featured web sites.

Since then, over the last 17 years, the retail market online has exploded and become saturated with products from all over the world and the show continues to spot light, brand and sell amazing products. To date, the show is the longest running of its kind in home shopping television history and has featured thousands of guests and will continue to grow, expand and evolve.
